area.
The AI video editor that takes direction.
Built by Studio Huuush.
Introducing area
Making a short is mostly chores. Studying the reference, writing the script, recording the voice, styling every caption. The creative call takes a minute. The rest takes the afternoon.
area is an AI video editor you can direct. Say what you want in plain words. An agent does the work inside the project, and every change shows up where you can keep it or undo it.
From reference to export
Every step of a short, in one window.
Start from a reference and area carries it through to a finished cut. Step in anywhere, by hand or by asking.
- 01
Reference Pick the video you want to learn from. area watches it frame by frame before anything else happens.
- 02
Plan Titles, a script draft and the shots behind each scene, written from what the reference actually shows.
- 03
Voice Turn the script into narration line by line with ElevenLabs, Gemini or Typecast.
- 04
Edit Captions and titles styled to your channel, laid out on a timeline, exported as MP4 or Premiere XML.
Vision that watches the whole reference.
Claude reads sampled frames the way an editor studies a clip: what is on screen, every line of text, the layout and the effects. That becomes structured data the rest of the edit is built on.

An agent that works where you can see it.
Open Ask AI and say what you want changed. The agent edits the plan, script, voice lines or timeline, tells you which parts it touched, and keeps a snapshot so any turn rolls back in one click.
Make the hook land in the first two seconds.
- Reading the plan
- Rewriting the opening lines
- Updating the script
The first line now opens on the reveal. The rest of the script follows from there.
Taste learned from your own channel.
Paste links to videos you have already published. area learns how your titles and captions look and applies the same style to the next one.

Privacy and control
Private enough for unreleased footage.
area runs on your computer, keeps your keys out of your projects, and lets you take back anything the agent did.
- Local by default Projects, footage and exports live in a folder on your computer. Only the frames you analyze go to the model you picked.
- Keys in the vault API keys are stored in Windows Credential Manager, never in project files.
- Bring your own subscription Use Claude, Codex or Grok through their own apps, or connect an OpenCode Go key.
- Every turn can be undone The agent snapshots what it changes, so you can always go back to the version before.
