On September 29, 2026 at 8:49 AM (KST), Google Search VP Robby Stein announced that AI Mode's information tracking is expanding to all users worldwide. Tell it what you want, and Google keeps watching websites, forums, social posts, live information, and the Shopping Graph, which holds more than 60 billion products, then lets you know about new developments. Search goes beyond answering a question and follows the information for you, so you do not have to search again.

How to ask for it
You can set up a topic to track by describing your conditions in natural language in AI Mode. While you are doing a related search, AI Mode may also suggest an information monitoring task first. For example, you can ask like this.
- "Tell me about new restaurants nearby or pop-ups opening soon."
- "Let me know when this sold-out product is back in stock."
- "Let me know if this product's price drops."
- "Let me know when there are local events I could take my kids to."
- "Let me know when an apartment listing that matches my criteria goes up, or when a player I like does a new sneaker collab."
New developments arrive as an update with a summary and links to related web pages.
How to use Google AI Mode tracking alerts
- Open AI Mode in the Google app or go to google.com/ai. You can also start from the AI Mode tab in Google Search results.
- Enter, in specific terms, what you want to keep checking and your conditions. For example: "Tell me about new vegan restaurants opening in Brooklyn," or "Let me know if this product is back in stock or drops below $70."
- When AI Mode sets up the tracking task, Search keeps checking for new information and sends updates.
To use AI Mode, you need to be signed in with a personal Google account. AI Mode supports South Korea and the Korean language.
What it watches: the web, live information, and 60 billion products
Information tracking watches web content such as sites, forums, and social posts, plus live information on finance, shopping, and sports. Product tracking uses the Google Shopping Graph. Robby Stein described it as "60B+ products." Changes to products, like restocks and price drops, are also reported based on this product information graph.
