Claude Code cloud sessions are now generally available. Work runs on Anthropic's servers instead of your computer, so it keeps going even if you close your laptop or shut it down. Existing Pro and Max subscribers can also claim credits from their account to try out cloud sessions.
Connect your GitHub account before you start, and you can bring in a repository and hand off work. You can start from the web, the mobile and desktop apps, or the terminal, and each session runs in its own separate workspace.

Where do I start?
Just open Claude Code in an environment you're used to. You can start a cloud session in any of these four places.
- The claude.ai/code web page
- The Code tab in the Claude mobile app
- The Code tab in the Claude desktop app
- Run
claude --cloudin a terminal
You need a GitHub connection to start a session. Once you connect a repository and hand off work, the code work continues in the remote environment, and you can come back later to check the results.

The point of cloud sessions is that the code work you hand off keeps going without leaving your computer on. Claim your subscription credit, connect a GitHub repository, and start your first task.
